The act of picking up lost property and returning it to its owner by Lieutenant Nguyen Tien Dat, an employee of the Procedure Team, Binh Hiep International Border Gate Border Guard Station, Binh Hiep International Border Gate Border Guard Station, Long An Provincial Border Guard received much praise from his comrades and teammates.

On the afternoon of May 15, while on a business trip from the Border Guard Station of Binh Hiep International Border Gate to the People's Committee of Binh Hiep Commune (Kien Tuong Town, Long An Province), at the intersection of Binh Hiep Bridge, comrade Dat picked up a black wallet containing some cash, 3 bank cards and some personal documents such as citizen identification card, reserve officer card, motorbike registration certificate, motorbike insurance certificate in the name of Tran Huynh Thanh Duy.

Immediately after picking up the wallet, Lieutenant Nguyen Tien Dat reported to the unit's leadership. The Command of the Border Guard Station at Binh Hiep International Border Gate notified the local authorities and posted on social media to find the wallet's owner.

At 3:30 p.m. the same day, someone contacted to ask for the property back. After verifying all the information, in the presence of the Station Command, Lieutenant Nguyen Tien Dat returned the wallet to the person who lost it, Mr. Tran Huynh Thanh Duy. Mr. Duy emotionally shared: "Luckily, Mr. Dat picked it up and proactively contacted the local police, so I received these very important documents back. I thank comrade Dat and the Binh Hiep International Border Guard Station very much."

The above action of Lieutenant Nguyen Tien Dat demonstrated his sense of responsibility in serving the people, contributing to further shining the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers and spreading the beautiful image of "Border Guard soldiers in the hearts of the people".
