The National Assembly discussed the 2025 supervision program and the State budget settlement.

Today (May 30), the National Assembly entered its tenth working day, discussing many important contents on the National Assembly's Supervision Program in 2025; Law on National Defense Industry, Security and Industrial Mobilization.

Continuing the first working program of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly, today (May 30), the National Assembly entered the 10th working day (broadcast live on television and radio) with important contents related to the planned National Assembly Supervision Program in 2025; Law and Ordinance Making Program in 2025, adjusting the Law and Ordinance Making Program in 2024; State budget settlement; Law on National Defense Industry, Security and Industrial Mobilization.

Accordingly, at the beginning of the morning session, the National Assembly will listen to the Secretary General of the National Assembly present the Report on the National Assembly's proposed Supervisory Program for 2025; and focus on discussing in the hall about this proposed supervisory program.

Next on the program, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Law Committee of the National Assembly presented the Report on the proposed Law and Ordinance Building Program for 2025, and adjustments to the Law and Ordinance Building Program for 2024.

After the presentation by the Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Law, the National Assembly will discuss in the hall the contents related to the above proposed program.

In the afternoon session, Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc, authorized by the Prime Minister, will present the 2022 state budget settlement report (including a report on the implementation of the provisions of Resolution No. 91/2023/QH15 on approving the 2021 state budget settlement and Resolution No. 94/2019/QH14 on tax debt relief, late payment penalty debt relief, and late payment interest for taxpayers who are no longer able to pay the state budget).

Next, the National Assembly will spend time listening to the State Auditor General present the audit report and the Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee present the report on the audit of the 2022 state budget settlement.

Also in the afternoon session, the National Assembly will listen to a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security present a report explaining, accepting, and revising the draft Law on National Defense Industry, Security, and Industrial Mobilization; National Assembly deputies will discuss in the hall a number of contents of this draft law with different opinions.

At the end of the afternoon session, the presenting agency and the agency in charge of reviewing the Report on explanation, acceptance and revision of the draft Law on National Defense Industry, Security and Industrial Mobilization will coordinate to explain and clarify a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies.
