Accordingly: On the afternoon of May 2, the 7th extraordinary session of the 15th National Assembly took place at the National Assembly House, Hanoi Capital to carry out the following contents:

The National Assembly considered the dismissal of the position of Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 term, approved the dismissal of the position of member of the National Defense and Security Council, and dismissed the duties of a deputy of the 15th National Assembly for Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong city.

At this session, the National Assembly considered the dismissal of the XV National Assembly delegate, Mr. Duong Van Thai, from the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Giang province.

After listening to the presentations and opinions of Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, the National Assembly discussed, voted by secret ballot and passed a Resolution to relieve Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue from the position of Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 term, approved the dismissal of the position of member of the National Defense and Security Council, and dismissed him from his duties as a deputy of the 15th National Assembly.

At the same time, the National Assembly passed a resolution to dismiss the XV National Assembly delegate, Mr. Duong Van Thai.

On May 2, the Secretary General of the National Assembly issued Notice No. 3568/TB-TTKQH informing the opinion of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the assignment of operations of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee assigned Mr. Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly to operate the operations of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam until the position of Chairman of the 15th National Assembly is completed according to regulations.
