Ghost in the Shell is in the top 5 hundred billion movies; Hoang Thuy Linh's concert movie earned 148 million VND

Possessed continues to dominate the box office, while Vietnamese concert film: We are Vietnamese by singer Hoang Thuy Linh has dismal sales.

Last week there was a movie release on March 14, with notable names such as Extremely Funny Killer, I Don't Have Pain, Mickey 17, Vietnamese concert film: We Are Vietnamese.

Possessed continues to be a box office hit

According to data from The Box Office Vietnam, Ghost in the Shell led the box office last weekend with 26.8 billion VND, bringing the total revenue to 114.8 billion VND after 10 days in theaters (plus early screenings).

Possessed has about 3,400 screenings per day, still dominating other competitors. Mickey 17 , Hoang Thuy Linh's concert film or Hitman 2 still cannot dethrone this horror film from the box office throne.

Films produced by Nhat Trung still maintain their appeal thanks to being released in theaters with little competition, especially when Am Duong Lo - a Vietnamese film of the same genre - was released in theaters at the end of March.

If the current revenue and screening rate increases are maintained, Ghost in the Shell will likely surpass Ma da (127 billion VND), becoming the highest-grossing Vietnamese horror film of all time.

In second place is the extremely funny Assassin , earning 21.6 billion VND after 3 days of release. The film attracted audiences thanks to the successful effect from the homeland and the charming dubbed version of actors Le Khanh and Le Duong Bao Lam.

The story continues to follow Jun, a webtoon artist who rose to fame thanks to his work Assassination Agent Jun . However, after part 2 was heavily criticized, he was quickly labeled a "brainless writer".

Things take a sudden turn when a real-life terrorist attack occurs, which eerily matches the plot of part 2 he just published.

This makes Jun an unwilling suspect, wrongly accused by the NIS (National Intelligence Service of Korea) of being the mastermind behind the crime.

Ranked 3rd is Nha Gia Tien , currently with a total revenue of 235.5 billion VND after nearly 1 month of release. Huynh Lap's film has about 1,100 screenings per day.

Notably, Vietnamese concert film: We are Vietnamese by singer Hoang Thuy Linh disappeared from the top 10 box office revenue. The film earned 148 million VND last weekend with only about 50 screenings per day.

Many viewers believe that Hoang Thuy Linh has a breakthrough music career with a well-invested solo concert, but her documentary is quite bland and lacks a climax that leaves a deep impression on viewers.

Snow White live-action in theaters

Next week, Snow White, The Most Difficult Job, The Girl We Chased Together, Ghost Train Station, Exorcism: Origin of Darkness, The Circle of Evil and Love, Crazy for Love will all be released on March 21.

Most notable is Snow White - a live-action adaptation of Disney's 1937 animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Directed by Marc Webb - who had success with The Amazing Spider-Man , the film revolves around Snow White living in a forest with seven dwarfs after fleeing from the pursuit of the Evil Queen.

The story revolves around the confrontation between Snow White's beauty and the Queen's jealousy, to the point where she orders the huntsman to kill her.

Discovering that Snow White is still alive, the Evil Queen visits her at the cottage and gives her the poisoned apple.

After being poisoned, Snow White is awakened by the prince's kiss.

This version offers a new approach, but still retains the spirit of the original story, despite many changes in character presentation and style.
