Music night "The boat without dock 9" - the mark of timeless love songs

The music night was edited and directed by People's Artist Tran Binh, with the artistic direction of Meritorious Artist Quynh Trang, bringing together famous artists: Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Meritorious Artist Minh Thu, famous singer Ngoc Son, famous singer Ngoc Anh, singer Ho Trung Dung, singer Le Viet Anh, Sao Mai Bao Yen, along with the band Huyen Trung, MC Chien Thang, May Dance Group, Contemporary Dance Group and Thoi Gian Group.

The special highlight is the combination of the golden generation of famous singers and the young generation of singers, creating a musical flow that is both rich in experience and fresh.

According to People's Artist Tran Binh, the program's goal is to recreate timeless songs but renew them with modern performance and stage styles. "Music needs to be revived through many generations, to both maintain its value and have a long-lasting influence," the director shared.

In the context of the dominance of commercial music, “Con thuyen khong ben 9” becomes a spiritual support, contributing to nurturing the lyrical and romantic music genre and preserving its value for today and tomorrow.

The concert was like a journey of memories, bringing the audience back to the glorious years of Vietnamese modern music. The songs in the program will lead the audience through many different levels, both exciting and nostalgic.

As one of the young Sao Mai singers, Bao Yen expressed her emotions when singing “Suoi Mo” and “Thien Thai” in the program. “These are classic works by musician Van Cao, with difficulty in both vocal technique and emotional depth. For me, standing on the big stage to sing with a live orchestra, in the solemn space of the Hanoi Opera House, is an experience that is both thrilling and happy. I hope the audience will welcome the freshness in the singing style of the young generation, but still keep the soul of the work intact,” the female singer confided.

Famous singer Ngoc Son said he really appreciated the opportunity to participate in this special music night. “I have been attached to many lyrical songs since I first started singing. Every time I sing “Hương tham” or “Em oi Ha Noi pho”, I feel like I see myself in the early days, with a heart full of dreams. Hanoi audiences are sophisticated and meticulous when enjoying music, so I have prepared carefully to bring a performance that is both intimate and luxurious,” the famous singer shared.

Returning to the Capital stage, singer Le Viet Anh – Champion of Sao Mai 2011 revealed that he will perform the songs “Love song for you” and “Hundreds of memories and thousands of loves” with delicate arrangements to touch the hearts of the audience.

“The Boat Without a Dock 9” promises to be a night of music full of emotions, connecting generations, so that immortal love songs continue to resonate in today's life.
