"Green Dream" Fund launched to support people affected by storms and floods

On the afternoon of September 21, at Novaworld Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan , the Journalist & Public Opinion Newspaper organized the 2024 Editor-in-Chief Forum program with the theme: "Solution journalism: A direction for traditional journalism?"

Before starting the Forum program, with the desire to share the losses and difficulties that people have just suffered from storm No. 3 and the effects of floods, the "Green Dream" Fund of the Journalist & Public Opinion newspaper launched a call for support from delegates present at the event to help people in the areas affected by storm No. 3 overcome the disaster and soon stabilize their lives.

Promoting the tradition of solidarity, mutual love, "Helping each other", "Love others as you love yourself", the delegates supported people in flood-affected areas.

The "Green Dream" Fund through the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels or directly supports people in affected localities.

Recently, Storm No. 3 (Storm Yagi ) has been causing widespread flooding, the northern provinces of our country are currently suffering serious human and material losses. During the days of storms and floods, all levels of the Journalists Association and press agencies, along with the team of journalists, did not hesitate to face difficulties and hardships, joined hands with the whole country to prevent, combat and overcome the consequences of storms and floods; strictly followed the direction and management of the Government and were proactive and flexible in implementing prevention, combat and response to storms and floods.
Journalists also quietly contribute their efforts in calling for kindness, sharing, support, and help for those in need and facing many difficulties during storms and floods.
