The Party Committee and the City Party Committee donated more than 280 million VND to support the Cuban people.

After the fundraising campaign to support the Cuban people, the City Party Committee and Party Agencies counted an initial amount of more than 280 million VND.

Comrade Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hai Phong City Party Agencies and delegates donated to support the Cuban people.

On the afternoon of September 16, within the framework of the Conference to disseminate and implement the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the City Party Agencies, term 2025 - 2030, the Party Committee of the City Party Agencies launched a donation program on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba (December 2, 1960 - December 2, 2025).

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society , immediately after the launch, a large number of cadres and party members of 12 party cells and party committees under the Party Committee of the City Party Agencies actively participated, contributing a total amount of more than 280 million VND, expressing deep affection and gratitude to the Cuban people - a loyal and steadfast traditional friend of the Vietnamese people.

Comrade Hoang Quoc Thuong, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the City Party Agencies, symbolically handed over the donated money to the City Red Cross Society.

The entire donation amount will be compiled by the Party Committee of the City Party Agencies and handed over to the City Red Cross Society to be transferred to the correct address.

The support of Party committees at all levels, socio-political organizations and each cadre and Party member of the City Party Committee and Party agencies contributes to further enhancing the image of a loyal, steadfast, affectionate, sharing and benevolent Vietnam; strongly affirming the message "Vietnam - Cuba: Forever side by side in challenges, sharing in hardships".

On the same day, September 16, Regiment 50 (Hai Phong City Military Command) launched a fundraising campaign to support the Cuban people in the spirit of "Pure international solidarity, consistent from beginning to end". The campaign was launched from August 28 to October 14, with the participation of 100% of officers and soldiers. On the first day, the unit raised more than 40 million VND.
