Meanwhile, the work "Forever and Ever After" (Kim Dong Publishing House) is considered a memoir - biography of musician Hoang Van through his lifetime works written by his daughter Le Y Linh - a music doctor. The covers of the two books are based on a self-portrait of musician Hoang Van himself and designed by his nephew, artist Le Thiet Cuong.

People's Artist Ta Minh Tam said that the public knows musician Hoang Van through a series of songs that have left a deep mark on Vietnamese music since "Ho keo phao" (1954). According to music experts, these are the first two publications dedicated to the life and career of musician Hoang Van. This work helps music researchers better understand the musician who devoted his whole life to his career and contributed to opening up many creative trends for the country's music industry.
Musician Hoang Van (1930-2018), whose real name is Le Van Ngo, belongs to the generation of Vietnamese musicians who accompanied the resistance wars for independence and freedom of the Vietnamese people in the 20th century. In his monumental composition career, he reserved an important position for academic music. Notably, the symphonic poem "Thanh Dong To Quoc" - written by him in 1960 - is one of the first symphonic poems of Vietnam.
