International Fair of wooden furniture exports 2025 is coming soon

From March 5 to 8, 2025, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center - Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam International Furniture and Handicraft Export Fair - VIFA EXPO 2025 will take place.


The largest interior and exterior furniture export event in Vietnam in 2025

On the morning of February 19, in Ho Chi Minh City, a press conference was held to inform about the Vietnam International Furniture and Handicraft Export Fair - VIFA EXPO 2025. The event was organized by the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry - Ho Chi Minh City branch in coordination with Lien Minh Wood Handicraft Joint Stock Company.

Mr. Vo Tan Thanh - Vice President of Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), informed about VIFA EXPO 2025 at the press conference.

VIFA EXPO 2025 is not only a place for businesses to display and introduce products, but also a place for businesses to meet, exchange experiences, find partners and expand markets. This is also an opportunity for buyers to find quality, unique products that meet the increasing needs of the market.

At the press conference, Mr. Vo Tan Thanh - Vice President of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) said: Following the success of the VIFA EXPO 2024 event, the 16th VIFA EXPO 2025 will take place from March 5 to 8, 2025, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center - Ho Chi Minh City. This is the leading professional trade event in Vietnam, creating maximum conditions for businesses to display products and connect with buyers.

“This year's event is expected to not only be an important driving force to promote the Vietnamese furniture industry to reach international standards, but also an ideal meeting place for thousands of businesses looking for export orders,” the Vice President of VCCI emphasized.

VIFA EXPO 2025 is expected to attract over 2,500 booths from more than 650 domestic and international enterprises. In particular, the fair gathers a large number of reputable suppliers and manufacturers of furniture and handicraft products from Vietnam and around the world .

Of which, there are up to 52% foreign enterprises, coming from 19 countries and territories such as: Denmark, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Netherlands, Thailand, India, Korea, Singapore, England and Wales, Australia, USA, Cambodia, Italy, Japan...

Vietnamese enterprises account for 48%, coming from 17 provinces and cities: Binh Dinh, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Lam Dong, Long An, Nam Dinh, Phu Tho, Quang Nam, Tay Ninh, Thai Binh, Tien Giang, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City.

The highlight of VIFA EXPO 2025 is the participation of leading prestigious brands in the industry such as: Annda International, Minh Tin, Your Furn Partner - Part of Wendelbo Group, Trend World Furniture, Far East Foam, Reindeer Furniture, Babakagu, Canadian Wood, Latitude Tree, Paul-Yu, Koda, Woodnet, Scancom, Fine Scandinavian, MFC, PMA, Savimex, Thinh Viet, Lyprodan, Eurofar, Hiep Long, Cattie, Master Pacific, Mega Home, Wood Concept...

More growth space for Vietnam's wooden furniture industry

From the perspective of the co-organizing unit, Mr. Dang Quoc Hung - Director of Lien Minh Wood Handicraft Joint Stock Company also said: In recent years, the US market has always accounted for about 50% of Vietnam's wood export turnover. Over-focusing on exporting to the US market also has many potential risks for the development of the industry, so developing new markets is both a need and a sustainable development orientation of the Vietnamese interior and exterior furniture industry.

This year, the Organizing Committee of VIFA EXPO 2025 fair is especially interested in exploiting visitors and buyers from new non-traditional markets, to support businesses in developing new markets with the orientation of market diversification. Specifically: Middle East, India, China, South America, Africa,... markets, creating more growth space for the Vietnamese wooden furniture industry.

Notably, within the framework of VIFA EXPO 2025, there will also be activities such as: Specialized seminars updating the import-export situation of the world furniture industry in 2024 & forecasting trends in 2025; information, knowledge, environmental regulations, ESG standards in the field of interior and exterior furniture production; factory tour program.

“The organizing committee also cooperates with cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Wayfair, etc. to help Vietnamese businesses trade in the form of B2C (businesses connecting directly with customers) with end-users globally,” Mr. Dang Quoc Hung informed.

According to economic experts, VIFA EXPO 2025 - like a big door, will open up potential export opportunities for the Vietnamese interior and exterior furniture and handicraft community to go out to the world. At the same time, it will put Ho Chi Minh City "on the map" of the region's leading interior and exterior furniture trading centers.
