Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee - Phan Thai Binh ; along with representatives of relevant departments and branches of the province and Phu Ninh district attended.

Secretary - Governor of Sekong Province Lech-lay Si-vi-lay said that the first time he visited the Lower Laos Resistance Zone in Phu Ninh district, he was very moved by the sentiment and tradition of solidarity between the two Parties and the two peoples of Vietnam and Laos, both during the resistance war and in peacetime.

At the same time, he emphasized that the Lower Laos Resistance Zone is a beautiful symbol of the special friendship between Laos and Vietnam. Therefore, over the past time, the Lao Government and People, especially the authorities and tribes of Sekong province, have been very proud and deeply interested in this meaningful historical site.

"With all sincere and respectful feelings for the Lower Laos Resistance War Relic Site, the Party Committee, government and people of Sekong province contribute 20,000 USD to support Quang Nam in renovating, building and developing the Lower Laos Resistance War Relic Site to become a place to educate the tradition of special relations between the two peoples of Laos and Vietnam" - comrade Lech-lay Si-vi-lay shared.

Expressing his emotion at the sentiments of Sekong province, especially comrade Lech-lay Sí-vi-lay, Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee - Phan Thai Binh sent sincere thanks to the Party Committee, Government and People of the twinned Sekong province.

At the same time, he pledged to direct relevant units to use this support fund for the right purpose, contributing to the construction and embellishment of historical relics marking the special Vietnam - Laos mark to become more and more spacious and beautiful.
