Students can choose from 17 bus routes connecting to stations of metro line 1, from District 1 to Thu Duc City, picking up passengers on neighboring streets closest to the station, starting to carry passengers from December 20.
Bus routes connecting to metro line 1 have serial numbers from 153 to 169. Buses on these 17 routes operate from 5am to 10pm daily, following the operating schedule of Metro Line 1, with each trip taking 8-22 minutes. Passengers on this bus are also exempt from 30-day tickets, in line with Metro Line 1. After the free period, the fare is 3,000 VND/trip for students and 5,000 VND/trip for passengers.

These routes operate 3,528 trips per day and all pass through the Ben Thanh market area (District 1), where people can get on/off at the transfer station on Ham Nghi Street.
