A shining example in the volunteer movement

In recent times, the volunteer movement in Quang Ninh has increasingly spread widely, attracting a large number of young people to participate. One of the typical examples of the volunteer movement is Hoang Bich Ngoc, a student at Ha Long University.

Hoang Bich Ngoc (student of Ha Long University) is always active in volunteer activities for community life.

Hoang Bich Ngoc (born 2003), a student of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Ha Long University, carries within her the fire of youthful enthusiasm and a deep love for the community. Therefore, Bich Ngoc actively participates in the movements of the Youth Union, especially volunteer movements.

Bich Ngoc shared: Volunteering is my passion. That is why I joined the Volunteer Student Club of Ha Long University. Going to many places with my friends at school, I saw that there are still many people in difficult circumstances who need help and sharing.

As an active member, Bich Ngoc has participated in many meaningful activities for the community, from humanitarian blood donation programs to programs for disadvantaged children, such as "Mid-Autumn Festival for Children", Children's Day June 1... Bich Ngoc said that one of the most memorable memories is the green summer volunteer activity to support and help people in Quang An commune (Dam Ha district). All of these left Bich Ngoc with unforgettable emotions and nostalgia when completing the task.

During her volunteering activities, Bich Ngoc also encountered many difficulties, but the biggest challenge was probably connecting people together. Because each person has a different personality, thinking and working style, creating cohesion and unity in the group is not an easy task.

Looking back on the past journey, Bich Ngoc shared: To connect people, everyone must actively listen to each other, understand each other so that everyone can express their views and opinions, from there reach a common consensus. Because when we have the same goals and support each other, we will create a united group, succeed in everything we do and spread good values ​​to the community.

Currently, Bich Ngoc is the Vice President of the Provincial 5 Good Students Club and President of the Volunteer Student Club of Ha Long University. Under Bich Ngoc's leadership, the Club has organized many meaningful programs and events, especially activities to join hands to build new rural areas, teach English for free to children in remote, disadvantaged areas of the province. Bich Ngoc said: The experiential activities have created opportunities for me to pursue my passion, to devote my youth to volunteer activities. I feel that my knowledge is not only limited to the classroom, but it is more mature, responsible and makes me live a more meaningful life.

Hoang Bich Ngoc was recognized as a typical example in implementing the movement "Youth dedicated to the Party" in 2024.

With her contributions, Bich Ngoc was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Central Youth Union for her outstanding achievements in participating in the 2024 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign and a certificate of outstanding achievements in the volunteer movement of the Northern National Volunteer Network. Bich Ngoc is also a "5 Good Students" at the provincial level and in February 2025 became one of two outstanding faces of Ha Long University, in the group of 20 individuals of the province recognized by the Provincial Youth Union as exemplary youths in implementing the emulation movement "Youth for the Party".

Currently, Bich Ngoc has successfully defended her graduation thesis at Ha Long University. The young girl with many ambitions hopes to continue to contribute to the place where she was born and raised, her hometown Quang Ninh . “In the future, I plan to study for a master's degree, or become a teacher, especially to support teaching students in difficult circumstances, helping them gain more knowledge and life experiences to rise up. No matter what my future plans are, I still want to contribute my youth in building and developing my homeland. At the same time, I will always actively participate in volunteer activities, social security, spreading love and a sense of responsibility for the community" - Hoang Bich Ngoc shared.
