On the afternoon of September 28, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Vo Cao Long - Head of the Department of Education and Training (GD&DT) of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City - said that this unit had worked with the leaders of Chuong Duong Primary School and the teachers who were reported by parents to have solicited money to buy computers (laptops).
According to Mr. Long, the school has temporarily suspended the assignment of Ms. TPH - homeroom teacher of class 4/3, Chuong Duong Primary School - to teach while the case is being handled.
Chuong Duong Primary School will sign a contract with an outside teacher to ensure that learning activities for class 4/3 continue normally, without interrupting students' learning.
This plan aims to stabilize the psychology of students and parents, and at the same time resolve the class transfer request of 25 parents of students in class 4/3.
Along with that, the entire amount of money contributed by parents will be returned to the class's Parents' Representative Committee to properly perform the functions and tasks of the class's Parents' Representative Committee's operating budget.

The above decision comes from the fact that the TPH teacher called on parents to support money to buy a personal computer (laptop) with inappropriate words and actions, causing outrage in public opinion.
At the meeting with parents and the school board, this teacher admitted her mistake in encouraging parents to equip themselves with laptops, and in keeping the class fund. The female teacher also apologized to the school leaders and parents of the 4/3 class students and promised to correct all the mistakes she had made.
However, 25/27 parents attending the meeting still signed a request to change homeroom teachers or transfer their children to another class.
