According to the Civil Aviation Authority, airports expected to be directly affected by storm No. 10 include Tho Xuan, Vinh (temporarily closed to upgrade the runway), and Dong Hoi. Phu Bai Airport in Da Nang is expected to be affected by early gusts of wind caused by the storm's circulation.

To avoid the impact of the storm, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam directed the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation to issue an aviation information notice about stopping receiving aircraft at the following airports:

Da Nang Airport: stops receiving aircraft from 6am to 11am on September 28.

Phu Bai Airport: stops receiving aircraft from 8am to 2pm on September 28.

Dong Hoi Airport: stops receiving aircraft from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on September 28.

Tho Xuan Airport: stops receiving aircraft from 10pm on September 28 to 7am on September 29.

The Civil Aviation Authority recommends that Noi Bai, Van Don, Cat Bi and Chu Lai airports proactively update information and take precautions in case the storm develops abnormally.

To ensure the safety of flights, people and property at airports, and minimize negative impacts on flight operations, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam requires agencies and units to organize 24/7 duty; strictly implement procedures for responding to storms and tropical depressions in civil aviation activities.

Airports check the airport infrastructure system, communications... to promptly detect and handle damages (if any) to ensure the safety of works, stations, and ensure safety for operations.

At the same time, airports deploy plans to prevent rain and storms, measures to prevent flooding, clear the flow in the airport, protect the works, facilities and equipment at the airport, minimize damage caused by rain and storms and quickly stabilize all aviation activities to serve the needs of passengers.

According to information from Vietnam Airlines , due to the impact of storm No. 10, on September 28, flight VN1597 from Hanoi to Dong Hoi and flight VN1404 from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Hoi will take off earlier at 5:30 a.m. on the same day; flight VN1590 from Dong Hoi to Hanoi will take off at 7:10 a.m. on the same day; flight VN1405 from Dong Hoi to Ho Chi Minh City will take off at 7:45 a.m. on the same day.

Flight VN7270 from Ho Chi Minh City to Tho Xuan ( Thanh Hoa ) has adjusted its take-off time to 7:00 a.m. and flight VN7271 from Tho Xuan to Ho Chi Minh City has adjusted its take-off time to 9:25 a.m. on the same day.

Additionally, on September 28, Vietnam Airlines will cancel flights to and from Phu Bai Airport (Hue); temporarily suspend flights to and from Da Nang International Airport until 12:00 on September 28.

During this same period, a number of other domestic and international flights may be affected by the storm's impact.

Vietnam Airlines Group recommends that passengers fasten their seat belts throughout the flight, especially in complex weather conditions. Actively fastening seat belts, even when the signal light is off, is an important measure to help minimize risks when the plane encounters air turbulence.
