Strengthening business connections, creating momentum for economic development

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Huu Huy asked businesses to discuss and carefully study merger procedures in accordance with regulations.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Huu Huy suggested that businesses discuss to strengthen business connections and economic development.

Phu Yen Business Connection Club was established in June 2023, under the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises. The club has about 60 official members and 110 members participating in the Phu Yen business connection community (old).

Buon Ma Thuot Business Association has more than 200 members, from 40 different professions of Dak Lak province (old). After the merger of the two provinces, the two units have organized many exchanges and explored investment cooperation between enterprises.

Mr. Tran Ba Dung, representative of a business of Phu Yen Business Connection Club, spoke at the program.

At the program, representatives of Phu Yen Business Connection Club and Buon Ma Thuot Business Association proposed and provided solutions to merge the two units to strengthen the connection between businesses and businessmen under the name of Dak Lak Business Association.

The Association will be a bridge between businesses and the government, reflecting the opinions and aspirations of the business community to management agencies. At the same time, it will create an environment for exchange, experience sharing, mutual support, and improving the competitiveness of businesses.

Speaking at the seminar, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Huu Huy said: The establishment of a provincial business association after merging provinces and cities is a good idea for businesses to have a common voice and strengthen cooperation and economic development.

However, careful research is needed to ensure the association operates effectively, on target and in accordance with the actual situation. The two units need to continue discussing and contacting the provincial departments for specific and correct instructions.
