Since the establishment of the Electronic Warfare Department, Center 80 has taken on additional tasks of technical assurance (BĐKT) for electronic warfare equipment and trial production. However, scientific research and technical innovation and improvement for BĐKT for electronic warfare weapons and equipment of Center 80 is still a continuous task.

To complete the assigned political tasks, the strong and turning point changes were gradually accepted and adapted by the Party Committee, the command and the staff of Center 80 to meet the new requirements, in which the unit simultaneously carried out three basic tasks: BĐKT, R&D and production, testing. These tasks were combined and complemented each other, creating conditions for the staff of Center 80 to have more contact with reality, to better understand the challenges and requirements for the TCĐT force.

Since the mid-1990s, with the country's open-door policy, the reception of scientific and technological information, the purchase of measuring equipment, materials and components has become more convenient. This has created great conditions for applied research, turning problems that have only been solved in principle into scientific and technical solutions. From here, new equipment models and scientific research products with high applicability have been born, in particular, some products have become the main equipment for TCĐT units throughout the army. The long-standing dream of the scientific research staff of Center 80 has become a reality.

When the socialist realism model in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe collapsed, causing the supply of weapons and equipment for the TCĐT to be interrupted, the TCĐT force did not waver but clearly determined the spirit of relying on its own strength. The Party Committee and commanders of Center 80 constantly made efforts and strived to rise up, affirming the pillars of scientific research and technical innovation for the TCĐT force.

One of the urgent needs in the early stages of the establishment of the TCĐT Department was TCĐT equipment for units in military regions and corps. The tactical TCĐT equipment model that met the urgent needs at that time was the TSGN-1077, first introduced in 1995 (3 years after the establishment of the TCĐT Department). A prominent product introduced a few years later was the mobile TCĐT vehicle R142. This product marked a new development step in integrating many devices and equipment into a complete system; using computers for connection, centralized control, antenna systems, and transmitters were calculated to be fully automatic. Mastering the technology and solving integration problems were better implemented in the product model of the topic "R-934D air-to-air information jamming device" a few years later.

From the late 2000s to now, many new technologies and techniques have been applied, such as: High-speed signal processing technology; development and application of data transmission protocols; application of computers in control, equipment integration and user interface development; expansion of operating frequency range and addition of many modern features of research product models. Product models and equipment in both the ultra-high frequency and information fields have been raised to new heights. Typical topics, research products and technical solutions in this period are the Ministry of National Defense level topics "Research on design and manufacture of small-sized unmanned aerial vehicle jamming equipment"; "Research on design and manufacture of short-wave jamming reconnaissance complex"; "Research on design and manufacture of MB-2014 radar irradiation early warning receiver" and "Research on design and manufacture of 3cm waveband radar jamming equipment GNRĐ 3-15". All topics carried out by Center 80 were highly appreciated by the acceptance council and put into mass production of "0" to move towards mass production of TCĐT equipment.

Currently, the unit is implementing 1 State-level project, 4 Ministry of National Defense-level projects and many projects and tasks at the General Department of Logistics and Engineering, grassroots level and proposing many scientific and technological tasks to be implemented in the period 2026-2030. This is a testament to the spirit of constant innovation, continuing the achievements and feats in the 45-year development and growth of the unit.

With the goal of fully mastering the technology of manufacturing new generation strategic and campaign-level military technical equipment by 2030, applying technology to meet new combat methods and requirements of modern wars, Center 80 always determines to firmly step on the path to reach the heights of science and technology, becoming a leading technical and scientific research unit in the field of military technical equipment and having prestige in the Army; ready to face new challenges and difficulties in the future, contributing to building a "Regular, elite, modern" military technical force, firmly protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

To successfully complete the assigned requirements and tasks, the Party Committee and command of Center 80 will promote the tradition of "Solidarity, unity, proactiveness, self-reliance", thoroughly grasp and strictly implement directives, resolutions and orders from above on military and defense tasks, focusing on Resolution 57 of the Politburo and Resolution 3488 of the Central Military Commission on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation. Focus on building Party committees and organizations with comprehensive leadership capacity, high fighting strength, Center 80 is comprehensively strong and "exemplary". Build a team of cadres and employees who are comprehensive in both quality and capacity, have a scientific and modern mindset, and are ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks.
