Professional training in culture and sports for commune-level officials

HNN.VN - On September 11, the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City organized a professional training conference for commune-level officials, civil servants and public employees in the fields of culture and sports.

Leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City presented publications of the "Hue Bookcase" project to commune-level officials participating in the training.

The training course aims to improve the quality of grassroots staff, meeting management requirements in the context of implementing a two-level urban government model.

80 trainees from 40 communes and wards in Hue City participated in the training course. The training content focused on key areas such as: culture and family, cultural heritage, information - press - publishing, physical education and sports. At the same time, new legal documents were updated, clarifying the organizational model, functions and tasks of commune-level professional agencies. The training conference also spent time answering practical problems in cultural and social management at the grassroots level.

Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City, said that the training program is a basic preparation step for grassroots cadres to improve their capacity and courage, ready to meet the development requirements in the new stage of the city.
