The North-South Expressway project, Vung Ang - Bung section, passes through mountainous terrain, so along with the construction of the main route, at locations at risk of landslides, Project Management Board 6 ( Ministry of Construction ) directed units to focus on constructing a landslide prevention system on the route.

Up to now, the landslide prevention system on the Vung Ang - Bung expressway has been basically completed with the following items: Reinforce slopes, treat drainage systems, build solid concrete beam frames and braces, install steel mesh panels, plant grass to prevent erosion... The construction unit uses sustainable, fast-construction materials such as stone gabions and precast concrete retaining walls to ensure safety for people and the project.

Up to now, the landslide prevention system on the Vung Ang - Bung expressway has been basically completed.

According to Project Management Board 6, the landslide prevention and control items are carefully and scientifically calculated, and the construction ensures technical and aesthetic quality, contributing to reducing the risk of soil and rock spilling onto the road surface, protecting the lives and property of traffic participants. At the same time, ensuring the investment efficiency and long-term development of national infrastructure, protecting traffic infrastructure...

The North-South Expressway project, Vung Ang – Bung section, is 55.34 km long, of which the section passing through Ha Tinh is 12.9 km long, invested by Project Management Board 6, Ministry of Construction. Up to this point, the shape of the expressway has been basically clear, reaching nearly 96% of the construction volume. The investor and the construction unit are focusing on constructing bridge No. 1 - ensuring the project's progress; at the same time, completing the landslide prevention system at important locations.
