Thai Nguyen - Sparkling Full Moon Festival Night

On the evening of October 3, Thai Nguyen province organized the Mid-Autumn Festival Program and the Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Parade Competition at the provincial level with the theme "Thai Nguyen - Sparkling Full Moon Festival Night". The program took place simultaneously in 3 areas: Vo Nguyen Giap Square (Phan Dinh Phung Ward), Van Xuan Square (Van Xuan Ward) and the Cultural House Square (Bac Kan Ward), attracting tens of thousands of people, tourists and children to participate.

Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, attended the program at Vo Nguyen Giap Square.

This year's Mid-Autumn Festival takes place with many exciting activities such as: Special art programs; lion and dragon dances, Cuoi and Hang scenes, and street Carnival art performances.

Along with that, the Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Parade Contest with nearly 100 lantern models from 92 communes, wards and a number of schools, businesses and residential groups in the province created a colorful and sparkling festival night.

At Van Xuan Square, the highlight of the program is the Mid-Autumn Festival lantern model parade of 30 communes and wards.

The colorful models are meticulously created by the skillful hands of union members, youth, students and people.

Each lamp is not only a work of art but also carries a cultural and historical story and the aspiration for a prosperous and happy life.

Each model entered Van Xuan Square one after another, the sound of drums mixed with the cheers of the audience.

The children were very excited to participate in the program.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival program at the Cultural House Square ( Bac Kan ward), the Organizing Committee awarded 30 bicycles and 109 scholarships to disadvantaged children, giving them more motivation to improve their lives.
