Visit and give gifts to lonely elderly people in difficult circumstances

On the occasion of the Month of Action for the Elderly, on October 16, the Provincial Red Cross in coordination with the Provincial Association of the Elderly organized a visit and gave gifts to lonely elderly people and those in difficult circumstances in Kim Son and Yen Khanh districts.

The delegation visited, shared difficulties and gave 55 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to lonely elderly people and those in difficult circumstances. These gifts came from the joint efforts and contributions of businesses and philanthropists.

Practical gifts not only help the elderly reduce difficulties but are also a great source of spiritual encouragement, adding motivation for them to live happily, live healthily, and maintain an optimistic spirit in life.

Mobilizing and connecting kind hearts to join hands in carrying out meaningful work for the elderly in especially difficult circumstances is one of the activities that the Provincial Red Cross has been interested in implementing in recent times.

The community's care and support has contributed to improving the material and spiritual quality of life for the elderly in difficult circumstances.

At the same time, these meaningful activities also create widespread influence to call on more organizations, individuals and people to actively participate in caring for and supporting the elderly.
