Consulting on building capacity building projects for businesses

On August 1, in Da Nang, the Department of Private Enterprise and Collective Economy Development (Ministry of Finance) coordinated with the project implementing unit to organize a technical consultation meeting to build the project "Promoting innovation, growth and leadership capacity for Vietnamese enterprises".

The project aims to increase access to finance and technical assistance for businesses operating in the field of climate change and to enhance the capacity of Vietnamese business support organizations.

The project, which uses non-refundable aid from the Government of Canada, is expected to have three components: Strengthening support from ecosystem actors for climate businesses, especially those owned by women and vulnerable groups; increasing investment in gender-integrated and inclusive climate businesses; and enhancing the deployment of impact investment funds through climate investors.

At the meeting, delegates discussed thematic groups: State sector and impact investors; business support organizations; climate business, incubator and accelerator sectors.

Thereby, delegates proposed ideas for the research team to design effective and sustainable projects.
