Early in the morning of October 1 (the 10th day of the 8th lunar month), people of Que Phuoc commune brought all kinds of familiar fishing tools such as traps, nets, nets, etc. to participate in the Na Bo dam discharge ceremony. The atmosphere was urgent and bustling like a big festival.
After merging and operating the two-level local government, the task of releasing water from Na Bo dam was assigned to the Veterans Association of Mau Long village (Que Phuoc commune) to operate.

After the ceremony, each water barrier board was pulled up. Water gushed out. People brought tools down to the dam to catch fish such as eels, snakehead fish, catfish, perch, mullet, or catch apple snails, rock snails, shrimps, etc. in joy.
This is also an opportunity for people to gather, strengthen their village ties, and pray for favorable weather and bountiful harvests. Many visitors from the lowlands come to experience the unique culture of the people of the upper Thu Bon River.
