In addition to the majestic and beautiful natural scenery, this place also marks the historical and cultural values of Truc Lam Buddhism, associated with the name and extraordinary career of Emperor Tran Nhan Tong. After leading the army and people of Dai Viet to victory in the resistance war against the Yuan-Mongol invaders twice (in 1285 and 1288), he passed the throne to his son, leaving the red tower and jade palace to return to this deserted place to practice and attain Buddhahood. It is known that during the 5 days of the Lunar New Year (from January 28 to February 1), Yen Tu National Special Relic Site welcomed 63,239 visitors to visit and worship. The number of visitors here is expected to continue to increase sharply after the Yen Tu festival.
