Establishing 3 innovation networks for strategic technology industry groups

On the morning of August 25, in Hanoi, under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung, the National Innovation Center (NIC, under the Ministry of Finance) held a ceremony to announce the establishment of three innovation networks and strategic technology industry experts.

The three innovation networks include: quantum (VNQuantum); cyber security (ViSecurity); aviation, space, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV Vietnam).

The event takes place at a particularly meaningful time when the entire Party, people and army are looking forward to celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day. This is also an opportunity to review the heroic tradition, affirming the determination of today's generation in building an independent, self-reliant and self-reliant country with the power of innovation, science , technology and Vietnamese intelligence, combined with the technical achievements of humanity.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Thanh Trung said that with the establishment of three new networks, the Ministry of Finance has gradually formed a global Vietnamese intellectual ecosystem, a strong strategic innovation and technology community, becoming a core force to help the country catch up, progress together and surpass in a number of key areas.

The launch of the three networks is not only an important milestone, but also the beginning of a new chapter in Vietnam's journey to master technology; a strategic step to create a solid launch pad, unleash potential and connect the most elite minds to create the core driving force for a knowledge-based, self-reliant and prosperous economy.

The above-mentioned three strategic technology industry innovation and expert networks are component networks of the Vietnamese innovation and expert network assigned by the Ministry of Finance to NIC for sponsorship.

To date, NIC has sponsored the establishment of 10 Vietnamese innovation and expert networks in 22 countries and territories with more than 2,000 members who are experts, general engineers, and chief architects in important industries. Along with that are 5 innovation and expert networks in strategic technology industries to coordinate with universities, research institutes, and businesses to solve major problems of the country.

During the announcement ceremony, NIC and its member networks also signed cooperation agreements.
