Establishment of Steering Committee to build private economic development project

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 526 on the establishment of the Steering Committee for developing a private economic development project.

According to the decision, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is the head of the Steering Committee.

The Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee include: Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung - Standing Deputy Head, directly directing the development of the private economic development project.

Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang - Deputy Head in charge of coordinating and coordinating the development of the private economic development project.

The Steering Committee members include representatives of the leaders of the ministries and agencies: National Defense, Public Security, Finance, Construction, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Environment, Science and Technology, Justice; Government Office; State Bank of Vietnam.

In addition, the Steering Committee members also include the Chairmen of the People's Committees of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Can Tho, Hue; invited representatives of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee; representatives of the Economic and Financial Committee of the 15th National Assembly.

The Steering Committee is responsible for developing a private economic development project to submit to the Politburo. The Steering Committee works part-time, following the principles of centralization, democracy, and public discussion, ensuring unified leadership.

The Head of the Steering Committee shall chair scheduled meetings and convene extraordinary meetings when necessary. He may authorize the Deputy Head of the Steering Committee to chair meetings to discuss and decide on specific issues within the duties of the Steering Committee.

The Ministry of Finance is the standing body assisting the Steering Committee in developing the project. The Minister of Finance, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, decides to establish an Editorial Team and a Team of Experts to develop the project.
