Third place went to Dell with 10.2 million computers shipped, down 14.3% from 2022. Apple ranked fourth with a 29.1% drop in computer shipments to just 6.4 million devices.
"Many of the issues that have hindered the growth of the market have been resolved. Therefore, manufacturers can expect increased demand from the market. Artificial intelligence (AI) may become the new trend for the industry," said Kieren Jessop, an expert at Canalys .
Accordingly, computers with integrated AI are expected to be sold on the market from 2025. Canalys also predicts that this quantity will quickly increase to about 60% by 2027.
This trend could help computer manufacturers and partners benefit from higher prices for AI-integrated devices. In addition, manufacturers can also exploit many other solutions and services.
