JINYI JEWELRY Vietnam Co., Ltd. located in Tay Ho commune is a business specializing in the production of high-end jewelry products such as bracelets, rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets... made of 18k and 24k gold-plated copper, exported to the US and Chinese markets. Ms. Le Thi Nghia, Head of the company's Human Resources Department, said: "The Tho Xuan district government has created favorable conditions for the area of 23,000 m2, helping the company build and complete the factory, quickly put into operation from October 2022. Currently, the company is creating jobs for nearly 400 local workers, with an income ranging from 6.5 to 7.5 million VND/person/month. In addition to ensuring income for workers, other policies are also fully and promptly implemented by the company."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh, village 2, Xuan Son commune, was the first group of workers to work at JINYI JEWELRY Vietnam Co., Ltd. when the enterprise first started operating. According to her: "After my labor contract in Taiwan (China) expired, I returned home, not knowing what job to look for. Fortunately, the company posted a recruitment notice, so I decided to apply for a job here. With an income of 7.5 million VND/month and working close to home, I have better conditions to take care of my husband and children."

Xuan Hong is a newly merged commune at the end of 2019, the economy mainly relies on agricultural development. Therefore, to increase people's income, in addition to increasing the value of cultivation, the locality pays special attention to business development, considering it an important task contributing to promoting local economic development, while creating jobs and income for people. In that spirit, the locality has reviewed and selected households with effective production and business, promoted and mobilized them to establish businesses and supported them in taking steps to complete the documents when establishing a business.

Talking about business development in the area, Mr. Trinh Vinh Hop, Vice Chairman of Xuan Hong Commune People's Committee, said: "With 82 businesses operating in the area, they have participated in creating jobs for thousands of local workers, with income ranging from 5 - 7 million VND/person/month. Particularly for large enterprises such as Minh Anh Garment Joint Stock Company, the income for skilled workers can be from 12 - 13 million VND/person/month. From the effectiveness of establishing businesses, it has contributed to reducing the local poor households in 2023 to 2.32%".

It is known that developing enterprises and creating jobs for workers is identified by Tho Xuan district as an important task in the local socio-economic development. In addition to issuing documents assigning targets for establishing enterprises to communes and towns in the area, the district also promotes propaganda and raises awareness for individual business households and the business community about the benefits and rights when switching to operating under the enterprise model. At the same time, it pays attention to removing difficulties and obstacles, supporting enterprises in investment, production, business activities, reforming administrative procedures... In particular, the implementation of policies, supporting enterprises in terms of production and business premises, application of science and technology, expanding the market for goods consumption... has brought about clear results. Currently, the business community in the district is creating jobs for more than 25,000 workers, with an average income ranging from 5 - 8 million VND/person/month, contributing to reducing the district's poor households to 1.47%.
