Latest announcement on 6th grade enrollment at Tran Dai Nghia Specialized School, Ho Chi Minh City

According to this announcement, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City said that students must be present at 7:00 a.m. and begin taking the survey at 8:00 a.m. on July 4.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted will enroll 525 sixth-grade students. Candidates will take the test on July 4. The test will last 90 minutes.

Candidates will take a test on abilities such as: Language (English, Vietnamese - writing); mathematics and logical thinking; natural sciences , social sciences (History - Geography); common sense of life.

In terms of form, the competency assessment includes multiple choice and essay sections.

For the multiple choice part, candidates take a 20 multiple choice test in English about their understanding of natural sciences, social sciences and common life knowledge in 30 minutes.

For the essay part, candidates will have 60 minutes to complete the test, including: English proficiency test (listening, reading, writing); candidates will complete the test in English.

Test of mathematical and logical thinking ability, reading comprehension and writing ability. Candidates take the test in Vietnamese.
