Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh has just signed a decision to discipline Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong, former Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
According to the decision, the Prime Minister disciplined Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong by removing her position as Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
Ms. Hong had violations and shortcomings in her work and the Central Executive Committee has taken party discipline.

Disciplinary enforcement period from the date of announcement of Decision No. 1544-QDNS/TW dated September 9, 2024 of the Central Executive Committee.
Previously, the Secretariat decided to expel from the Party Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong, former Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
