Thuan Bac: Summary of 5 years of National Border Defense Day

On November 29, the People's Committee of Thuan Bac district held a conference to review 5 years of implementing the National Border Defense Day and met and commended border guard officers who participated in building a strong maritime border area in the 2019-2024 period.

After 5 years of implementing the National Border Defense Day, the awareness, sense of responsibility, vigilance of the people, the role and political determination of the Party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, the forces and people of all walks of life in Thuan Bac district in building, managing and protecting territorial sovereignty have been constantly improved. The movements, programs and models of the Border Guard in building potential, developing socio-economy associated with strengthening national defense and security in the maritime border area continue to be implemented effectively. The movement "All people participate in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation" has been closely implemented, creating conditions for socio-economic development in the area.

Thuan Bac district leaders awarded certificates of merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing "People's Border Defense Day" in the period 2019-2024.

At the conference, the People's Committee of Thuan Bac district awarded certificates of merit to 3 groups and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in 5 years of implementing the National Border Guard Day in the period of 2019-2024. The Provincial Border Guard presented gifts to 14 students under the Project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school", encouraging them to continue to strive to overcome difficulties in studying and life.
