Driving comprehensive AI transformation in manufacturing

DNVN - FPT Corporation has just officially signed a strategic agreement with one of the leading industrial corporations in Southeast Asia. The cooperation opens up contract opportunities worth 30 million USD, to promote comprehensive transformation of AI (artificial intelligence) in production activities for customers.

This partnership marks an important milestone inFPT ’s efforts to modernize the industrial sector with AI and digital transformation. With more than 20 years of experience providing technology services to global customers in the manufacturing sector, FPT will deploy AI solutions covering the entire value chain from business operations and improving factory performance to logistics functions, thereby helping customers form efficient and smart production models based on AI.

The comprehensive transformation roadmap is expected to be implemented in three strategic phases. The first phase, starting from 2025, focuses on building a solid AI foundation through the application of technologies such as OCR for document processing, digitizing production processes, integrating machine data, and using computer vision to ensure labor safety and timekeeping operations.

Phase two, slated for 2026, will focus on enhancing operational intelligence through AI-based forecasting, optimization, and planning solutions. These efforts will enable the industrial conglomerate to make smarter, data-driven decisions in key areas such as procurement, manufacturing, and workforce management.

From 2027 onwards, the project will focus on building an optimized, smart manufacturing ecosystem with AI-powered decision-making capabilities. This transformation will be accompanied by the adoption of technologies such as digital twins, AI assistants and automated agents to streamline operations, while conversational AI will help improve customer service.
