Directing the implementation of solutions to improve the quality of hospital management, patient safety and safety for medical staff. Traditional medicine, combined with modern traditional medicine, will continue to be focused on.

In the field of population, the representative of the Ministry of Health said that programs, projects and policies on population and development continue to be completed and implemented synchronously to ensure replacement fertility, control gender imbalance at birth, improve population quality and adapt to population aging.

There are opinions suggesting that the Ministry of Health continue to pay attention to promoting administrative procedure reform in medical examination and treatment activities; focus on improving medical ethics for doctors and service attitude of medical staff; direct the completion of laws, strengthen inspection and supervision in the field of food safety.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Committee for Culture and Society Nguyen Hoang Mai suggested that the Ministry of Health continue to review the problems that need to be overcome and handled immediately; noting that the National Assembly has empowered the Government to adjust a number of provisions in the laws and resolutions of the National Assembly to promptly remove difficulties and legal problems in order to promote socio-economic development. Therefore, the health sector needs to be proactive and bold in proposing and recommending to the Government, promptly finding solutions to remove difficulties and problems. The Ministry of Health should study and propose solutions to reform health finance, mobilize and effectively use all resources for health development; assign a unit to review newly issued policies and laws, promptly advise and propose to the Ministry to develop and issue documents guiding the implementation of the law.
