U.17 Hanoi deserved to win
At Ba Ria Stadium, U.17 Hanoi won 3-2 against U.17 Nam Dinh in the final, thereby winning the national championship with a series of 6 unbeaten matches. In the group stage, coach Cristiano Roland and his team won 2 victories, 1 draw. Then, they defeated U.17 PVF-CAND in the quarter-finals, U.17 SHB Da Nang in the semi-finals with the same score of 2-1.
Modern, confident playing style and especially resilience have helped the young team under the guidance of coach Cristiano Roland successfully defend the national U.17 title and build trust among fans. This is proof that, when trained in a systematic environment, young players can completely demonstrate remarkable maturity at the age of 17.
U.17 Hanoi deserved to win
Ecstatic joy
VFF Vice President Tran Anh Tu presented the award to the best player.
This championship continues to highlight the golden record of achievements of Hanoi youth football. From 7 U.19 championships, 6 U.21 championships, to titles in U.17, U.9... all reflect a closed, professional and sustainable training system. Few clubs in Vietnam can maintain the model from U.9 to the first team like Hanoi Club. This is an important foundation for the club to maintain its number one position in the domestic league, while contributing abundant human resources to the national teams.
Mr. Hien's mark in all the successes of Hanoi FC is undeniable. Right from the beginning of football, he chose the long-term path - investing in youth training - instead of depending on buying players. The view that "if you want to build a tall house, you must build a solid foundation" has become a guiding principle throughout. And now, after nearly 20 years, the achievements have affirmed the correctness of that philosophy.

What did coach Roland say?
Coach Roland shared after winning the championship with his students: "Without the persistent investment of the club's leaders, Hanoi youth football would hardly have achieved the successes it has today. Here, players are not only trained in professional skills but also trained in a professional, disciplined environment."
The students released coach Roland
This year’s U.17 champions will be a direct source of reinforcement for U.19, U.21, and then the first team in the near future. Furthermore, many of them can become pillars of the national team in the next 5-7 years. This shows that the training strategy of Hanoi Club not only serves the development of the Club, but also contributes to the goal of raising the level of Vietnamese football.
In the context of domestic clubs still facing many difficulties in youth training, the success of Hanoi Club is a clear message: only by persistently investing in the roots, football can develop sustainably. The 2025 National U.17 Championship is not simply a title, but an affirmation of a development model in the right direction, a solid foundation to conquer higher goals.
For Hanoi FC, youth training is not a parallel task, but the center of the development strategy. It is a long-term commitment, a journey of sowing seeds, to reap sweet fruits today and continue to nurture the dream of reaching the continental level tomorrow.
