The Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union organized the Tet tree planting campaign "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho"

In the joyful and exciting atmosphere of the first days of Spring At Ty - 2025, this morning, February 2, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Secretariat of the Vietnam Youth Union of Quang Tri province organized the launching ceremony of the "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" tree planting festival in Cam Thuy commune, Cam Lo district and directed all levels of the Youth Union to simultaneously organize tree planting activities in the whole province.

Following the teachings of the great President Ho Chi Minh , in recent years, Quang Tri youth have actively organized tree planting festivals to remember Uncle Ho every time Tet comes and spring comes.

This is an annual activity, demonstrating the pioneering spirit and responsibility of young people in protecting the environment and responding to climate change. Thereby, it contributes significantly to proactively preventing natural disasters, regulating the climate, improving the ecological environment, and beautifying the natural landscape.

At the ceremony, the representative of the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union requested the Cam Lo District Youth Union to deploy and maintain the green tree project to improve the landscape; called on cadres, union members and youth to actively participate in the Tet tree planting festival with all their spirit and highest sense of responsibility; participate in planting, caring for and protecting trees right at their offices, schools, and places where they work and live; participate in planting forests, protecting and developing forests in localities and units.

Propose that all levels of the Youth Union effectively implement the target "Each Youth Union member and youth plants and takes care of at least one tree every year" to add more green and improve the living environment.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Youth Union Secretariat presented a green tree project to improve the landscape of Nhat Le village, Cam Thuy commune.
