According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, from November 16, 2023 to December 15, 2024, Quang Tri province has mobilized 61 foreign non-governmental (NGO) projects and new non-project aid with a total committed value of 9,197,672.08 USD, increasing the number of programs and projects being implemented in the province to 109 projects, with a disbursement value of 22.12 million USD to serve the needs of overcoming the consequences of post-war bombs and mines and developing the local socio-economy.

In 2024, there will be 36 NGOs and 14 international organizations with projects implemented in the province; participating in supporting localities in areas such as: social protection, climate change prevention, environmental protection, scholarships, healthcare, overcoming war consequences, supporting people with disabilities, comprehensive rural development, disease prevention, education and training...
Non-governmental organizations operating in the province comply with local regulations and have a partnership of trust and mutual respect.
Quang Tri province has actively increased exchanges, sharing, and information provision with NGOs and other donors through the focal agency for mobilizing NGO aid, the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Accordingly, the Department of Foreign Affairs has actively promoted the expansion of partnerships between agencies, departments, branches, localities and NGOs to attract investment resources in areas according to the general orientation of the province.
