In 2025, the University of Industrial Technology (TNUT) will enroll 3,250 students for 21 training majors, applying 4 main admission methods: considering high school graduation exam scores, considering academic records, direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and considering the results of the computer-based university entrance assessment test (V-SAT).

Dr. Dang Danh Hoang - Director of the Admissions and Communications Center of the University of Industrial Technology said: "We aim for fair, flexible and transparent admissions. Expanding the admissions method not only helps candidates proactively choose but also encourages them to confidently pursue a major that suits their abilities."

In addition, this year, the school has increased admissions consulting through many social media channels such as: website, fanpage, AI chatbot and direct activities at high schools. In particular, the "STEM and English Festival" program is held at high schools in Thai Nguyen province to connect and introduce careers to high school students.

Notably, in 2025, the University of Industrial Technology plans to open an additional major in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, continuing to train in Semiconductor and Microchip Technology, a field that is receiving strategic investment from the Ministry of Education and Training and Thai Nguyen University.

“Semiconductor technology is one of the leading fields of study in the digital age. In addition to sending lecturers to Taiwan and some schools with a long history in this field, we also develop an integrated training model with the Computer Engineering industry to ensure that students have comprehensive skills upon graduation,” Dr. Dang Danh Hoang emphasized.

Regarding the 2025 floor score, the school announced the admission threshold from 15 to 24 points depending on the major and method. Core engineering majors such as Mechanics, Automobiles, Electronics, Automation, etc. have floor scores ranging from 15 to 18 points. Only the Electronics - Telecommunications Engineering major has a floor score of 24 points, reflecting the current career trends of society.

The admission combinations include A00, A01, D01, D07, B03, A10, D84, X25… allowing candidates to flexibly choose according to their personal strengths. In addition, majors taught in English or integrated with business practice are also a big plus for those who intend to work in an international environment.

Nguyen Dinh Hiep, a student at Hiep Hoa 2 High School (Bac Ninh) has registered his wish to be admitted to the Control and Automation Engineering major with a total high school graduation exam score of 26.5 points according to group A01.

Sharing about his decision, Hiep said: “I have loved engineering since I was young, especially interested in smart manufacturing systems. I find that the training program at the school has a lot of practical content, very suitable for my career orientation.”

Before submitting his application, Hiep proactively researched the major, training environment and career opportunities. “I appreciate the way the school publicizes admission information and supports candidates. When I need advice, I text the school’s fanpage and get quick, specific responses. This makes me feel secure when choosing a major and choosing the University of Industrial Technology,” Hiep added.

With the desire to work in the field of automation engineering in large industrial zones, Hiep clearly identified that four years of university is an important first step. “I hope to study in a highly practical environment, practice skills and access technology early. I think the school will create all conditions for us to develop comprehensively,” Hiep said.
