"Meeting Vietnam" organization awarded 209 Vallet scholarships to students in Thua Thien Hue

On August 31, the "Meeting Vietnam" organization awarded 209 Vallet scholarships to 148 students and 61 university students with high academic achievements in Thua Thien Hue province with a total amount of nearly 4 billion VND.

In 2024, the "Meet Vietnam" Organization awarded 209 Vallet scholarships in Thua Thien Hue province with a total amount of nearly 4 billion VND. Of which, 148 high school students, each scholarship worth 15 million VND, equivalent to more than 2.2 billion VND. There were 61 students, each receiving a scholarship worth 29 million VND, equivalent to nearly 1.8 billion VND.

This is the 24th year that the Rencontres du Vietnam Organization has awarded Vallet scholarships to Vietnamese students. The scholarships help students have more motivation to go further on their learning path and realize their passion for science . In particular, the amount of scholarships increases every year in both quantity and value to meet the living and studying costs of each student.

According to the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, Phan Quy Phuong, these scholarships will create favorable and timely conditions to help students pay tuition fees, buy books and school supplies for the new school year. At the same time, they will support them on their path of learning and training, continuing the journey of multiplying beautiful and humane things, making our lives more and more beautiful.

Over the past 25 years (1999-2024), the Vallet Scholarship Fund and the “Meet Vietnam” Organization have awarded more than 50,000 scholarships to excellent students nationwide with a total value of VND500 billion. In Thua Thien Hue province alone, 4,500 scholarships worth over VND50 billion have been awarded.

Thanks to these valuable scholarships, many students of Thua Thien Hue in particular and the whole country in general have excelled in their studies, training, fulfilled their school dreams, graduated from university and become doctors, engineers, scientists in many fields...
