Organizing the selection of awards for outstanding union officials in 2024

Accordingly, the Nguyen Van Linh award is organized to motivate union officials to promote creativity, actively contribute, and contribute their enthusiasm and intelligence to develop the movement of workers, civil servants, and union activities in the new situation.

At the same time, through outstanding examples to share experiences, replicate and spread new models, good practices, and effective creativity in trade union activities and the workers' movement.

The selected subjects are union officials at all levels, including full-time union officials and part-time union officials.

The trade union officials selected and awarded the Award must ensure the following ratio: At least 50% of grassroots trade union officials; no more than 30% of grassroots trade union officials; no more than 20% of provincial, central sector and equivalent trade union officials, and officials of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Provincial and City Labor Federations, Central and equivalent Industry Labor Unions, and Corporation Labor Unions under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor select and recommend no more than 3 outstanding union officials at each level.

The selection process for the award must be public and democratic; ensuring the conditions, standards and procedures according to the Regulations on awarding the "Nguyen Van Linh Award". The union officials who are awarded the Award must be truly outstanding examples in union activities, and be role models that need to be replicated among all union officials, union members and union levels nationwide.

Those selected must ensure the following general conditions and standards: Have good moral qualities; sense of organization and discipline; always be exemplary in implementing the Party's policies; the State's policies and laws; those of the Trade Union, the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and the rules and regulations of the agency, unit, or enterprise where they work.

Have prestige, solidarity, help colleagues in work and life. Actively care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of employees and the Trade Union.

Able to inspire and positively influence union members and workers, being a typical example in all aspects, trusted and honored by cadres, union members and workers at the workplace; Not yet awarded the "Nguyen Van Linh Award"; Achievements for the Award and initiatives recognized within 2 years (2022 - 2023).

The Nguyen Van Linh Award is a noble award of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, awarded every 5 years. This award is given to union officials at all levels with outstanding achievements, many initiatives, creativity, and innovative solutions in union activities, contributing to building strong union organizations, building sustainable development agencies, enterprises, and units; building the Vietnamese working class in the period of industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration.
