Hue Archdiocese, Executive Committee of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Vietnam Evangelical Church, Provincial Protestant Representative Board visited and wished the provincial leaders a Happy New Year

This morning, January 23, a delegation from the Hue Archdiocese led by Deputy Archbishop of Hue Archdiocese Dang Duc Ngan; the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Quang Tri province led by the Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Tri province, Most Venerable Thich Quang Thien; and the Vietnam Evangelical Church (Southern Region) - Quang Tri province's Protestant Representative Board led by the Head of the Quang Tri province's Protestant Representative Board, Pastor Chau Van An, visited and extended New Year greetings to the provincial leaders. At the reception, Coadjutor Archbishop of Hue Archdiocese Dang Duc Ngan expressed his joy at the achievements of Quang Tri province in the fields of economy - society, national defense - security; the people's lives are increasingly improved. He sincerely thanked the provincial leaders for their attention and creation of favorable conditions for Catholics to operate, well implement the Party's guidelines, policies, laws of the State and the direction of the Vietnam Bishops' Council "Living the Gospel in the heart of the nation to serve the happiness of compatriots"; effectively participate in economic, cultural, social development movements, crime prevention, maintaining security and order..., contributing to the development of the province.

The Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Most Venerable Thich Quang Thien, respectfully thanked the provincial leaders for always paying attention and creating favorable conditions for Buddhist activities. He hoped that the provincial leaders would continue to pay attention and support the Provincial Buddhist Sangha in the coming time, such as organizing the United Nations Vesak 2025, building the Provincial Buddhist College... At the same time, he affirmed that the Provincial Buddhist Sangha will continue to accompany and make more important contributions to the province and the lives of the people, especially the poor and those in difficult circumstances.

Head of the Provincial Protestant Representative Board, Pastor Chau Van An expressed his excitement about the achievements of Quang Tri province in 2024; at the same time, he thanked the provincial leaders, departments, branches and localities for their attention, support and creation of favorable conditions for parishioners to practice religion, work, produce to improve their lives and actively contribute to the development of the locality. At the same time, he emphasized that in the coming time, he will continue to accompany local Party committees and authorities in participating in economic development movements, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, organizing charitable activities, social security, maintaining security and order, protecting the environment...

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Deputy Archbishop of Hue Archdiocese Dang Duc Ngan; Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Most Venerable Thich Quang Thien; Head of the Provincial Protestant Representative Board, Pastor Chau Van An wished Quang Tri province many new steps of development, many achievements in all fields; wished the provincial leaders and people a new year of peace and prosperity.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam respectfully thanked the good sentiments and important contributions of the Hue Archdiocese, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, the Vietnam Evangelical Church (Southern region) and the Provincial Protestant Representative Board to the overall development of the province. At the same time, he informed about some outstanding achievements of the province in 2024 and orientations in the coming time.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam hopes that, with their roles and positions, the dignitaries and officials will promote the achieved results, continue to organize religious activities in accordance with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; continue to promote the spirit of patriotism, solidarity and join hands to build the great national unity bloc; actively participate in patriotic emulation campaigns and movements, contributing together with the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Tri to build a prosperous, happy and developed life.
