Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee Do Thanh Binh congratulated the assigned and appointed comrades. The Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee emphasized that heads of agencies and units, based on the functions, tasks and approved personnel plans and projects of the unit, should promptly arrange personnel, stabilize the organization, so that the apparatus can operate smoothly according to the new model; stabilize the ideology of cadres, civil servants and public employees; and make the best use of new resources and advantages after the merger.

Along with that, urgently issue working regulations, develop work programs, assign specific tasks to each comrade in the agency and unit to ensure leadership, direction, and implementation of work and tasks smoothly, promptly, effectively, without interruption, without creating legal gaps, affecting people and businesses. The Standing Committee of Can Tho City People's Council also issued a Resolution appointing members of the Can Tho City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
