Upon receiving the news, dozens of specialized fire trucks and the Fire Police force were mobilized to the scene to control the fire. By about 13:00 the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.

At the scene, the factory's metal roof collapsed, and the air was filled with a burning smell. Some households evacuated the elderly and children to ensure safety. Some surrounding areas were affected by smoke and heat from the fire.

Colonel Bui Thanh Truc, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police, was present at the scene to directly direct the fire fighting and investigation into the cause.
The Party Secretary of Thuan Giao Ward, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Uy, said that the ward's functional forces coordinated with professional units to evacuate students from Thuan Giao Secondary School, located only a few dozen meters from the scene, and also let students take the afternoon off to ensure safety.

Lieutenant Colonel Duong Ngoc Cuong, Deputy Chief of Thuan Giao Ward Police, along with officers and soldiers also directly participated in coordinating fire fighting and ensuring security in the area.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Linh (35 years old, a resident living near the scene) said: "At noon, I heard a loud explosion, the factory's roof was blown off, just a few minutes later, the authorities arrived very quickly to put out the fire and evacuate."

Currently, authorities are continuing to block off the scene and investigate the cause of the fire.
