Ho Chi Minh City checks revenue and expenditure, mobilizes funding in schools

(Dan Tri) - The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City organized an inspection of revenue and expenditure management at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year; proposed to strictly handle the responsibilities of heads, organizations, and related individuals if violations occur.

On September 26, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Thi Nhat Hang signed a plan to inspect the management of revenue and expenditure, and fundraising at the beginning of the school year in all kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, and high schools.

Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City presides over and coordinates with local authorities to inspect the implementation of revenue and expenditure at the beginning of the school year at educational institutions and professional content related to unit revenue sources according to regulations.

Along with that, the department checks the work of mobilizing funding for education and operating expenses of the parent-teacher association.

According to the plan, from September 29 to October 31, the Department of Education and Training will inspect from kindergarten to high school the implementation and implementation of revenue collection, fundraising, receiving, managing and using aid, sponsorship, gifts at schools, and operating expenses of parent-teacher representative boards.

At the same time, check the teaching program, implement the second session program; teaching materials, arrange timetables, inspect the public program, educational quality and related professional content...

The delegation will include the head of the Planning - Finance Department, and members who are experts from the Planning - Finance, General Education, and Preschool Education Departments of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City.

The leader of the Department of Education and Training said that through the inspection of revenue and expenditure, organization of revenue, fundraising, etc., the Department will promptly rectify the situation of collecting revenues that are not in accordance with regulations.

At the same time, it is proposed to strictly handle the responsibilities of heads, organizations, and individuals involved in violations in the implementation and execution of revenue and expenditure management at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.
