Giving gifts to support people affected by floods

On October 21, the Fatherland Front Committee and the Red Cross Society of Khanh Hoa province coordinated with the Red Cross Society of Thai Nguyen province and a number of units and sponsors to visit and give support money to families affected by floods in Kha Son commune. Attending the program was Mr. Vu Duy Hoang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province.

Representatives of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented support money to households in Kha Son commune.

During the recent flood, Kha Son commune was one of the localities heavily affected, houses and properties of many households were deeply submerged in water, thousands of hectares of trees and crops were damaged.

In order to share the difficulties of the people, on this occasion, Thai Nguyen Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Association and a number of agencies, units and sponsors to support 500 million VND for 250 families in Kha Son commune (2 million VND per household). This is a timely sharing to help households overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives soon.

* On the same day, Vietnam Vocational Consulting and Support Joint Stock Company coordinated with the Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Protection of Children's Rights of Thai Nguyen province to organize a gift giving ceremony for disabled people affected by floods in Linh Son ward and Vo Nhai commune.

The Organizing Committee presented gifts to people with disabilities and their families in Linh Son commune affected by floods.

The Organizing Committee awarded 56 gifts to disabled people affected by storm No. 11, each gift included medicine and cash, worth 800,000 VND.

This activity demonstrates the spirit of mutual love, contributing to encouraging and sharing difficulties with people with disabilities, helping them to soon stabilize their lives after the flood.
