Presenting 53,351 gifts to people with revolutionary contributions

(Baohatinh.vn) - According to the Ha Tinh Department of Home Affairs, by the end of June 25, the whole province had completed giving 53,351 gifts from the President and the province to meritorious people and their relatives on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), Ha Tinh has 78,365 people with meritorious services to the revolution and their relatives received gifts from President Luong Cuong and the province with a total cost of more than 23.75 billion VND.

Of which, the President presented cash gifts to 48,602 meritorious people and their relatives with a total amount of over 14.82 billion VND. The Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee presented cash gifts to 29,763 relatives of meritorious people and incense offerings to martyrs and deceased Vietnamese Heroic Mothers with a total amount of over 8.92 billion VND.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai and leaders of the Department of Home Affairs and leaders of Duc Tho district visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Ngu (born in 1933, residing in Trieu Dong village, Bui La Nhan commune) on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

According to the Department of Home Affairs, as of June 25, 2025, the whole province has completed giving gifts from the President and the province to 53,351 people with meritorious services and relatives of people with meritorious services to the revolution with a total amount of more than 16.25 billion VND.

As for incense offerings for martyrs and deceased Vietnamese heroic mothers, the province will organize the presentation to the martyrs' relatives and the heroic Vietnamese mothers' relatives in July 2025.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day in July 2025, provincial and local leaders will visit and directly present gifts to 39 outstanding meritorious people, meritorious people in especially difficult circumstances, and those with long-term illnesses.
