Awarding the 50-year Party membership badge to former Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thien

(GLO)- On the afternoon of August 27, the Standing Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to award the 50-year Party membership badge, September 2, to comrade Nguyen Van Thien, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee.

Attending the Party badge awarding ceremony were comrade Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; and representatives of the Standing Committee of the Quy Nhon Nam Ward Party Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Van Thien was born on February 4, 1954, joined the Communist Party of Vietnam on August 27, 1975 (officially on August 27, 1976), and is currently active in the Party Cell of Ward 10, Quy Nhon Nam Ward Party Committee.

At the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung awarded the 50-year Party membership badge to comrade Nguyen Van Thien; affirming that this is a worthy recognition for his efforts, training and great contributions to the Party's revolutionary cause as well as the development of the province.

The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that Comrade Nguyen Van Thien will continue to promote the pioneering and exemplary spirit; pay attention and contribute opinions to the leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels in implementing targets and tasks, contributing to the development of Gia Lai province.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Van Thien expressed his emotion and pride when receiving the 50-year Party membership badge on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

He promised to continue promoting the sense of responsibility of a Party member in mobilizing people to well implement the Party's policies and guidelines, contributing to the development of the province.
