Ho Chi Minh City intellectuals offer incense at Uncle Ho's temple in Pac Bo

On the afternoon of September 24, a delegation of intellectuals from Ho Chi Minh City offered incense and flowers at the Uncle Ho Temple in Pac Bo village, Truong Ha commune, Cao Bang province. This was one of the delegation's activities during the trip to the source organized by the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

A delegation of Ho Chi Minh City intellectuals led by Mr. Nguyen Viet Long, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, offered incense and flowers at the Uncle Ho Temple in the Pac Bo National Special Relic Site.

This is the place associated with Uncle Ho's activities in the early stages of returning to the Fatherland to lead the revolution (1941 - 1945) after 30 years of wandering abroad to find a way to save the country. It is also the place associated with a particularly important historical period of the Vietnamese revolution and the revolutionary life of President Ho Chi Minh .

After offering incense and flowers, the delegation of intellectuals from Ho Chi Minh City visited Karl Marx Mountain, Lenin Stream, Pac Bo Cave, etc. to learn more about President Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary activities during the time he lived and worked in Cao Bang .

In the evening of the same day, the delegation of intellectuals from Ho Chi Minh City visited the tomb of Heroic Martyr Kim Dong at the Kim Dong Historical Site, Cao Bang Province.

With the theme "Pride of intellectuals in the city named after Uncle Ho", the trip to the source took place from September 23 to 27, 2025, organized by the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

The journey to the source for Ho Chi Minh City intellectuals in 2025 took place in Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang provinces and Hanoi, with the participation of more than 110 delegates representing socio-political organizations; intellectuals honored by the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Science and Technology Associations; outstanding intellectuals in the fields of health, education - training, science - technology, and outstanding young citizens.

The city's intellectuals directly visited historical sites, "red addresses" - places bearing the mark of revolutionary activities of President Ho Chi Minh and previous generations of revolutionaries such as: Pac Bo special national relic site, visiting the tomb of Heroic Martyr Kim Dong (Cao Bang province); offering incense at Uncle Ho's temple, visiting Tan Trao special national relic site (Tuyen Quang); visiting President Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum (Hanoi city)...

On this occasion, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also mobilized intellectual delegates to join hands to support policy families, poor families, excellent students overcoming difficulties, etc. in the revolutionary base where the delegation visited. The total contribution amounted to 100 million VND.

The delegation came and handed over directly to the people and students in Nguyen Hue and Hoa An communes (Cao Bang province) on September 23 and 25, 2025.
