Modern Warfare III is coming out in November

Accordingly, Activision Blizzard has officially announced that Modern Warfare III will be released later this year. The news was announced in a post by the official Call of Duty account on X, along with a teaser about the sequel to the world's most famous shooting game franchise.

Continuing the reboot of the iconic Modern Warfare series, Modern Warfare III will pick up where the previous two titles left off. Notably, the new game will be different from Modern Warfare 3 , which was released in 2011, so the publisher has used Roman numerals to differentiate between the two games.

Aside from some voiceover audio, the short teaser doesn't reveal much about the next game. It's unclear how Modern Warfare III will change from previous entries in the series. Notably, the new game finally introduces Vladmir Makarov, a longtime villain in the Modern Warfare series.
