On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Party Committee and Command of Regiment 88 coordinated with localities to organize activities to visit and give gifts to policy families. Notably, the organization of a march to the source to burn incense in gratitude to the heroic martyrs of the Regiment at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Tu Vu commune - Phu Tho province (where the Tu Vu battle took place - the first siege battle of the Vietnam People's Army), Martyrs' Cemetery of Tan Cuong commune - Thai Nguyen province (where the Regiment was founded), Martyrs' Cemetery of Xuan Mai commune - Hanoi city, Monument to the heroic martyrs of Nhuan Trach, Luong Son commune - Phu Tho province.

The activities of gratitude and visits on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day have become a beautiful tradition with practical significance, an opportunity for officers and soldiers of Regiment 88 to express their deep gratitude to heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and those who have contributed to the revolution. From there, they are determined to unite, compete in studying, working, and excellently completing assigned tasks, contributing to building a strong and exemplary clean Party organization.
In addition, the unit coordinated with the Party Committee and the government of Lang Hang village (Lien Son commune, Phu Tho province) to organize the implementation of the Field Trip Plan for mass mobilization work phase 1, with nearly 400 working days, through specific tasks such as: Propagating the law on the loudspeaker system; free haircuts; medical examination and treatment - medicine distribution for more than 50 people; visiting and giving gifts to policy families; cleaning village roads and alleys; dredging 7km of intra-field canals; cleaning public areas; cultural and sports exchanges....
Regiment 88 also organized activities according to plan, organized and participated in competitions and sports events of higher levels with high results: Participating in the competition for excellent Mechanized Infantry Company Commanders at the Division level, ranked second overall; participating in the competition for excellent Teachers and Reporters at the Division level, ranked second overall, and 1 individual won second prize, 1 individual won third prize.
Continuing the results achieved in the past, in the coming time, officers and soldiers of Regiment 88 will continue to have many activities to celebrate the success of the Party Congress of Division 308, the Party Congress of Army Corps 12, towards the 12th Army Party Congress, and the 14th National Party Congress.
