Foreign Language School does not accept direct admission, exam is in only 1 session

According to the exam plan, this year the Foreign Language High School will not consider direct admission, but will give priority to candidates.

The school organizes the 10th grade entrance exam with 3 subjects: Foreign language proficiency assessment, Math and Natural Science proficiency assessment, Literature and Social Science proficiency assessment.

Foreign Language Specialized High School organizes exams in one session only

Specifically, subject 1 - Foreign language proficiency assessment with multiple choice and essay format, within 90 minutes. Candidates can take the test in one of the following foreign languages: English, Russian, French, Chinese, German, Japanese, Korean.

Subject 2 - Assessment of Math and Natural Science abilities in the form of multiple choice tests within 55 minutes.

Subject 3 - Assessment of Literature and Social Sciences competency in the form of multiple choice and essay tests; duration 55 minutes.

The 10th grade entrance exam schedule for Foreign Language Specialized High School in 2024 will be held in one session only, Saturday morning, June 1.

Foreign Language Specialized High School selects students based on the principle of taking the total score from high to low until the quota is full, respectively from the specialized system with scholarships and the specialized system.

The admission score is the sum of the scores of the subjects on a 10-point scale, the foreign language subject has a coefficient of 2 and is rounded to two decimal places. The test scores and the benchmark scores will be announced at the same time. The test results will be announced before June 30 on the school's website.

In 2024, the total enrollment target of the Foreign Language Specialized High School is 525, including specialized programs and specialized programs with scholarships, an increase of 25 enrollment targets compared to 2023. In which, both specialized programs and specialized programs with scholarships have increased enrollment targets, because this year the school no longer enrolls non-specialized programs.
