University of Transport announced the rules for converting equivalent scores.

(Dan Tri) - University of Transport applies different equivalent score conversion formulas for admission methods.

In the newly announced 2025 enrollment information, the University of Transport said that the admission method of the ability assessment test scores (HSA, APT), thinking assessment (TSA) will be converted according to the conversion instructions of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University.

This means that the HSA, APT and HSA scores are converted to equivalent by the exam organizer, and the University of Transport will use that equivalent conversion method.

For the transcript review method, the school will have its own equivalent conversion formula based on the input data of this year's admission period as well as the academic results of the group of candidates admitted by this method in previous school years.

In 2025, the University of Transport will enroll 6,320 students for standard and high-quality programs. Of which, standard training programs in the field of high-speed railways and urban railways have 240 students.

These are also completely new training programs, including majors: High-speed railway operation and management, High-speed railway vehicle engineering, High-speed railway electrical systems, Modern railway signal control and information, Traffic construction engineering - high-speed railway major...

Notably, this year is also the first year that the University of Transport trains in Computer Engineering with a focus on semiconductor microcircuits.

Candidates applying for this major must achieve a total score of 80% or higher and a math score of at least 80% of the scale.

For example, for the method of considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, candidates must achieve 24/30 points or higher and the math score must be 8.0 points or higher.

In addition, the University of Transport multiplies the math subject by a factor of 2 in all admission combinations.

The school accepts the conversion of IELTS certificate scores into English test scores in the admission combination. The conversion score table is as follows:

No later than 5:00 p.m. on July 18, candidates using IELTS certificates to replace English scores must submit the certificate with their application to the school.
